The Beach Boys

"Fifty years ago, we started something very big," says Brian Wilson. "So now we're celebrating together in a very big way." "It's pretty miraculous that we can start out as a bunch of guys who didn't know anything about fame or money, or anything like that," says Mike Love. "All we knew was we liked to sing and make harmonies together. So to have it become part of American musical culture is pretty amazing." The amazing yet true saga of The Beach Boys is well chronicled, and by any standard it's one of the greatest and most musical stories ever told. Now this singular West Coast story continues with a global celebration that is befitting of the remarkable and enduring legacy of these Rock & Roll Hall of Famers. To mark their 50th Anniversary, the founding members of The Beach Boys are reuniting for a major international tour and a brand new studio album that represents a whole new harmonic convergence from a group that has brought so much joy and harmony to this whole world.

Release the Rose

Rosé is one of the most fashionable swirls to top a stem in today’s wine world—even for men. Rosés have sashayed up to the proverbial plate, not only in popularity but in quality as well. Shedding the misperception that all rosés are sweet, and sporting a palate-pleasing acidity, today’s French-style versions are flavorful, complex, even crisp and dry. And their sales are growing 10 times faster than overall table wines.

In April, just in time for the spring releases, Old Edwards Inn and Spa pairs these stylish sips with the culinary imaginings of Madison’s chefs. Live music, rustic ambiance and fun camaraderie will make for another magical evening at The Farm—and the perfect time to get your #rosévibes on in time for the spring season.

Executive Chef Chris Huerta has created five fresh and innovative dishes, each course paired perfectly with a different Rosé. The cost of the evening is $135 per person.

Denver and the Mile High Orchestra

Blending a red hot horn section, along with jazz and big band roots, Denver and the Mile High Orchestra have created a power funk sound that defies description and is unlike any other. With Denver Bierman, writing and arranging the band's music, the diverse sounds of legends such as Stevie Wonder, Chicago, and Earth Wind and Fire combine for a fresh look at contemporary pop. Denver and the Mile High Orchestra wowed all of America, as they made the finale of the FOX-TV "American Idol" spin off "The Next Great American Band."  While the music is what defines the band, the live show makes a fan for life. Tight production, a lot of fun and the unexpected make "DMHO live" an experience like no other.

Sara Evans

Sara Evans has amassed an impressive collection of awards, including female vocalist from the Academy of Country Music and video of the year from the Country Music Association for her ground breaking clip "Born to Fly." At the root of all those accolades is a God-given talent fueled by an impressive Midwestern work ethic instilled by her parents. She grew up singing in her family's band and then moved to Nashville looking for a record deal. Legendary songwriter Harlan Howard heard her on a demo and helped open a door for her at RCA Records where she's been ever since.
