We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and a very Happy New Year! The Highlands and Cashiers area has a number of different events planned for 2016. Keep an eye out for these monthly newsletters and stay updated with local events in the Highlands and Cashiers area!

We also hope everyone enjoyed this year's first snow fall. We received almost 18 inches of snow, but those snow covered mountains really were a beautiful sight to see!

Once Upon a Wish

Join us for a party with all your favorite princesses and heroes as we celebrate dreams, wishes and the excitement that comes with living in a fairytale. Come dressed as your favorite character and enjoy light refreshments as you participate in this live, interactive stage show.  Come sing, dance and celebrate!

Chocolate Cook-Off

The Friends of the Albert Carlton-Cashiers Community Library will hold their sixth annual Chocolate Cook-off on Saturday, February 13, at the library.  Admission is $6 per person, and free to children under five.

Little Anthony & The Imperials

Little Anthony and the Imperials are one of the finest vocal groups to emerge from the talent-rich New York scene of the 1950's. Moreover, they enjoyed unusual longevity for an act of that type, having hits in both the doo-wop Fifties and the soul-music Sixties.

Monday Madness at Sapphire Valley Resort

Starting Monday, January 25th will be MONDAY MADNESS! 4:00PM - 8:00PM get 25% off all ski and snowboard lift tickets every Monday of the season.

New Ice Rink Opens in Highlands

The new ice rink opened at Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park on January 4th. The ice rink will be open from Thursday to Sunday each week and will have a fee of only $5. Loaned skates are also available.
