Blessed and Unbreakable Tour 

We're excited to announce the Blessed & Unbreakable Tour featuring Selah and speaker Missy Robertson of TV's Duck Dynasty, presented by Compassion International. The award-winning Selah will be releasing a new full length album, Unbreakable, in the Spring, and will perform some brand new songs as well as favorite songs, such as "You Amaze Us" and "You Raise Me Up". Missy Robertson, author of Blessed, Blessed...Blessed, will be speaking on the story of her family's fight to love hard, stay strong, and keep the faith when life can't be fixed.

Toward the end of each ski season in the Ski Sapphire Valley Resort we all get a little restless and look for a bit of excitement, so we decided to do what comes naturally...race outhouses on ski’s down a hill!

Root Bound, A Weekend Savoring of Appalachian Food and Music

A Full Immersion Weekend of Appalachian Food, Spirits, Music and "Edutainment." Featuring a live concert by bluegrass legend Darrell Scott and fun dining events including a multi-chef dinner at The Farm and a Bluegrass Gospel Brunch. Celebrated Guest Chefs of Appalachia include Travis Milton, Adam Hayes, Denny Trantham, Louis Osteen, Shelly Cooper, Lisa Donovan and Sheri Castle along with Old Edwards Executive Chef Chris Huerta. Ronni Lundy, Author of Victuals and Jed Portman of Garden and Gun will host an Appalachian Chat, and edutainmet/learning sessions include cooking classes by guest chefs and Allan Benton ("The King of Pork") and Nancy Payne Brune of J.Q. Dickenson Saltworks.

New Ice Rink Opens in Highlands

The new ice rink opened at Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park on January 4th. The ice rink will be open from Thursday to Sunday each week and will have a fee of only $5. Loaned skates are also available.

Looking to make some outstanding winter memories?  Come out to the ice skating rink at the Kelsey-Hutchinson Founder’s Park in downtown Highlands. The rink opened at the end of November and will remain open through mid-February

Enjoy the signature live entertainment Friday - Sunday nights in Hummingbird Lounge

On Friday and Saturday, Maestro regales guests with elegant piano favorites from 6 pm to 8 pm, while crowd- pleaser Cy Timmons entertains with his unique blend of vocals and guitar from 8 pm to close.

On Sundays, enjoy the smooth stylings of Paul Jones from 8 to close.

Bluegrass Mix-Up at the Ugly Dog 

Bluegrass Mix-Up every Thursday night at The Ugly Dog Pub in Cashiers. A different group of Western North Carolina's excellent musicians will be playing a variety of music starting about 7:15PM.
